The maps of the northern part of the Ladoga allow to see how interesting and diverse the geography of this area is. The maps were created in Finland (the Ladoga was the part of it then) in 1924-1932. Despite the years went by, nothing changed distinctly at those places. So one can totally trust these maps, at least those ones who travel by water.
Speaking about roads, it has to be accepted that the relief of the northern Ladoga (in some places hilly, in some places boggy) dictates the usage of already existing ways. That’s why this information should be trusted too.
